Welcome To Emma Lynn's Home Page

Hi, my name is Emma Lynn and I’d like to welcome you to my webpage. I was born November 23, 2003 in Ventura County. I live with my mom and dad, grandparents, two aunts and an uncle. I also have three great-grandparents, a great-aunt and a second cousin who live nearby. I like having all my family so close because it means I always have someone around who will tell me how beautiful and wonderful I am!

Some of my favorite things are my family, riding my tricycle, going to school, and riding "my" horse, Cindy. I really like my therapists, but don’t tell them, they might try to work me a little harder than I would like!

When I was younger, my family noticed I wasn’t meeting some of milestones and asked my doctor to take a look. He ran some tests and referred me to a pediatric neurologist in Santa Barbara. In September 2004, we were told that I belong to a very special group of people… I was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, or what is commonly referred to as AS. It makes some aspects of life a little difficult, but I greet most challenges with a smile and giggle. For more information, please see the sites listed under Favorite Links.
