10 FEBRUARY 2008
February 10, 2008
What a great week we had! Jake and his parents, Michelle & Dustin came to visit us on Monday. It was great having another Angel around! We wrestled, Jake shared his crackers, and we played with a balloon Jake's parents bought. Mom, Dad, Grandma and Aunt Jackie all thought Jake was just way too cute...I kept trying to give him hugs, but he played hard to get. Here's a picture of Jake & his parents and me with Mom & Dad.
Friday was a very special day. We started off early with a trip to Santa Barbara to see my neurologist. Grandma drove and Aunt Becky rode along with me and Mom. We got to his office kind of early so had I time to entertain the other patients in his waiting room. Mom and Grandma refused to let me have the run of his waiting room though...too bad cuz there were lots of things that sure looked interesting! When it was our turn to go into his office, Mom put me up on the exam table. I decided it was time to show off my brilliance, so when the doctor came in, I waved at him and said hi. Needless to say, Mom, Grandma...

WHEW! AM I TIRED!!
February 4, 2008
What a day my family had yesterday! Aunt Jackie was up before dawn to participate ina 5K run to benefit a CHP officer injured duing a traffic stop on the 101. Mom, Grandma and Grandpa went to watch her run but left me home because it was cold and rainy. She did great...2 minutes off her last 3 mile run...so she finished in 34 minutes. You rock, Auntie!!!
Later we went to Great Grandma & Grandpa's house for the Super Bowl. Great Aunt Becky made sure my favorite food was there...love those fruit and veggie platters! Poor Grandpa, the only one really rootin' for the Patriiots. At least it was a good game, or at least that's what all the big kids say. Who knows, I was looking for interesting things around the house. Great Grandpa did let me play the organ though...everyone said the music was beautiful! With all the excitement of the day, I refused to take a nap so I was exhausted by the end of the day! That's ok though, cuz I slept in and I'm ready to go!
We get to meet Jake Sclater and his family later this afternoon. I'm so excited. Maybe he and I...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!
January 19, 2008
Today Daddy joins ranks with the old folks...he's 30!!!
GGK (his Grandma) called earier today to wish him a happy birthday. Thanks, GGK!! The rest of us are gathering this evening for a big pizza feed and, Daddy's favorite cake, Angel food. Wouldn't you know he'd go for a food named after me and my buddies?!
I tried to remind him what a special day this was by waking him (and Mom) up at 4:30 this morning. Don't know that they appreciated the importance of this day...they definitely didn't appreciate the early morning wake up. Oh well, how many times does a guy turn 30? Gotta start the day off with a bang.
Hugs & kisses! Special hugs for Daddy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
January 1, 2008
Our new Angel calendar is up and ready for the year! Aren't we a good looking group? Grandma has a calendar set aside to take to work so she can share all our smiling faces with her co-workers!
After watching the Rose Parade, and way too many football games, I'm now home relaxing with my family. We spent the afternoon and evening at Great-Grandma and Grandpa's house, along with Aunt Becky & Aaron...always a good time. I tried to help "undecorate" the tree, but the older folks kept telling me it wasn't time yet and just gave me different toys! Things would be so much easier if they just put me in charge!!! Think of how fast the tree could come down?!
I hope everyone's New Year is full of happiness, love, peace and lots of Angel hugs & kisses. Catch ya later!

CHRISTMAS WEEK!
December 29, 2007
Wow! It's been a very long time since anyone updated my site! Guess I'm going to have to be more aggressive with my scribes!!!
It's been a busy week, think it's almost too much excitment for the older folks to handle. Christmas Day started off early. Aunt Jackie got home from work early that morning and wanted to be sure she saw what Santa brought me so she woke everyone in the house up, including me! Opening presents was loads of fun, but I really enjoyed throwing the apple left in my stocking...it made such a nice thud as it hit the floor. At least it made me giggle!
Later in the day, we went to my great-grandparent's house and met up with Aunt Becky and cousin Aaron. Lots of presents again. Of course, everyone else needed my assistance so I helped others unwrap their gifts also. Lots of yummy food...I really liked the sweet potatoes and green beans.
Friday was Uncle Jerry's birthday so the whole clan and some of my admirers (Hi, Nick & Ceasar!) all went out to dinner. I, of course, sat at the head of the table and held court! While most of the family...

A DAY AT THE ZOO
July 7, 2007
Wow, what a great day we had! Grandpa's birthday is next Saturday but he has to work so we all celebrated today! He has wanted to take me to the Santa Barbar Zoo since I was just a little kid, and we finally went yesterday. What a group of us....Mom and Dad, Grandpa and Grandma, Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jerry, Aunt Jackie and Cesar, Great Grandma and Grandpa, and Great Aunt Becky. We saw lions, penguins, gorillas and I even got a kiss from a giraffe!
After the zoo, we all went to lunch...yummy Mexican food. I wasn't having anything to do with my quesadilla, but the chips and rice were excellent!! Think all twelve of us overwhelmed the waiter, but I dazzled him with my smile so all was good!
